Cyprus Permanent Residence by Investment

Cyprus offers permanent residence to non-EU investors under Regulation 6(2) of its Aliens and Immigration Regulations, often called the fast-track permanent residence route.

Key requirements

• Investment of at least €300,000 (plus VAT) in new residential property, or other qualifying investments
• Proof of a secure annual income from abroad
• A clean criminal record

The permit can include the spouse and dependent children. It does not give the right to work in Cyprus as an employee. Requirements are set by the Cyprus Civil Registry and Migration Department and may change.

Note on citizenship

Cyprus closed its citizenship-by-investment program in 2020.
